Plugin Configuration
Master the rules engine settings inside WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → iPow Core.
1. Creating a Payment Rule
Click Add New Rule inside the iPow Core admin tab. Give your rule a descriptive internal title (e.g. Cash on Delivery Charge) and select the target payment gateway installed on your WooCommerce store.
2. Fixed vs Percentage Fees & Discounts
- Fixed Fee: Adds an absolute currency amount (e.g.
$3.50) regardless of total order size. - Percentage Fee: Multiplies the cart subtotal by your chosen rate (e.g.
2.5%). - Discount: Subtracts a fixed amount or percentage from the subtotal to reward low-cost gateways like Direct Bank Transfer.
3. Minimum & Maximum Cart Limits
Prevent fees from applying to microscopic orders or waive surcharges for high-value orders by setting minimum and maximum cart thresholds. Leave blank if no threshold applies.
4. Custom Checkout Labels
Specify the exact string shown to customers in the checkout subtotal breakdown (e.g. Cash on Delivery Service Charge or Bank Transfer Early Discount).
5. Enabling & Disabling Rules
Rules can be toggled on or off instantly without deleting your configuration settings.
